Blueberry Basil Mojito Mocktail

Following up from last week's post, as promised, here is a fun lil mocktail for you.
This is an alcohol-free take on a mojito, but without the booze. I love a mojito, but normally they're made with mint. You could totally do that here, but I love a savory take on, well, pretty much everything, so I've done mine here with basil instead of mint. Basil and blueberries are great together.
The base of this is an elderflower syrup you can get for cheap at Ikea. Not sponsored in any way, just a fan. By the way, they have a bunch of mocktail recipes on their website if you are looking for more mocktail inspiration.

Blueberry Basil Mojito Mocktail
A fun little mocktail that tastes great.
Ingredients
- 10 blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1 lime
- 4-6 fresh basil leaves torn
- 1 oz Elderflower syrup
- bubbly water
- ice
Instructions
- In the bottom of a larger glass, place your blueberries, 1/4 of the lime, and the torn basil leaves.
- Muddle all these together with a muddler or the wrong end of a wooden spoon.
- Juice half of the lime into the mixture and then add the elderflower syrup. Stir this well.
- Add ice to the glass.
- Top up with as much of the bubbly water as you'd like (adding more will make it more dilute), and stir well. Garnish with leftover lime slices and enjoy!
