Sober Cinco Paloma

It's the first of May, which means that Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner! If you're looking for a lil sip to have with your tacos, I've got you.
While I love a good margarita, the Paloma has often been my tequila-based drink of choice. I love grapefruit, and it's so fresh and bright.
I'm not actually drinking much these days (since the beginning of 2025) so I've been experimenting a lot with mocktails and zero-proof drinks. What I've discovered is that I'm not a huge fan of the zero proof liquors, I'd rather leave them out all together. So this doesn't have any zero proof tequila, but it does have agave, which is a sweetener made from the same plant as tequila. To give this drink a lil sparkle, I'm using the non-alcoholic Temperance line from Sea Cider.
Sea Cider is a local cider company from Vancouver Island, and it's a place I always try to stop at if I'm going to or from Victoria. It's beautiful and charming and I have some really lovely memories of sitting outside, sipping cider and having some snacks.
So! Happy Cinco De Mayo, and enjoy your Sober Cinco Paloma.
